Police clearance certificates (migration / citizenship purposes)

Applications for police clearance for migration purposes should be forwarded as per specimen attached, together with the following documents.

-Photocopies of the picture, visa, endorsement and alteration pages of the applicants Passport.

-Application processing fee of C$ 20.00 per application. The Money Order should be made in favour of the “ Sri Lanka High Commission”. Please note that personal cheques will not be accepted.

-A stamped self-addressed envelope to enable this Consulate to forward the Police Clearance certificate upon receipt from the authorities in Colombo.

-The Police Clearance certificate may also be returned by registered post. C$ 12.00 additional payment will apply. (Make payment with the application fee).


Notes

1. This High Commission  is not responsible for any document lost in the post.
2. Submission of forged documents and making false declarations is a punishable offence. Therefore the fees will not be refunded.
3. Incomplete applications will be rejected.
