RENEWAL
Passports valid for 5 years from the date of issue can be renewed for a further period of 5 years. Total period of validity cannot exceed 10 years from the date of issue. Application for renewal of passports can be made either before or after the expiry of a passport.
REQUIREMENTS
(i) Duly completed form "O" (IM 37)
(ii) Your current passport
(iii) Applicant’s status in Canada (Copy of PR Card / Work Permit / Dual Citizenship Certificate / Study Permit / Letter from Canadian Immigration which indicates applicant’s present status in Canada)
PAYMENT - C$ 5 per year and cost for registered post of C$ 12/- drawn in favor of “High Commission of Sri Lanka”

REQUIREMENTS
Current passport and the following documents where relevant
Alteration of name consequent to Marriage
Original marriage certificate (with 1 photocopy)
Husband's passport with a photocopy
Change of Profession
Academic /professional certificate(s) with one photocopy each
A letter from the employer confirming the profession
MODE OF PAYMENT
All the payments for consular service/s should be made by -
Money order in favor of the High Commission of Sri Lanka.
Cash payment will be accepted only at the counter.
REFUNDS
In the event of an applicant’s inability to comply with the requirements as stipulated, applicants are advised that no refund of the fees will be considered
